I have been kayaking for over 20 years. I did many sports previously including swimming, karate, skiing and despite being very successful it wasn’t my cup of tea. When I was teenager, I starter to attend the local canoeing club. We were paddling big boats on flat water and later we started whitewater kayaking and rafting.We were a Slovak team in rafting but my heart belong to kayaking and I slowly started to skip rafting training so I could go kayaking. I watched old kayaking movies on VHS and learned everything from it. This is how my kayaking career started. Since that time I mostly kayak every day. Kayaking for me is the best lifestyle. I am still training to be in best shape for events, but after 20 years it is not the most important thing for me anymore. Kayaking gave me the best experiences ever, the best wife ever and hopefully future super kayaker son. Now my goal is to enjoy my time on the water with my family, keep my level of paddling skills, travel to new kayaking destinations, do some expeditions and maybe bring some more medals from kayaking competitions as well.
