Passionate about the outdoor lifestyle Will’s adventures have taken him across the globe, ranging from the Great Walks of New Zealand, to a Crossing of Iceland and several expeditions to Kayak amongst the Patagonian fjords. Most notably, Will was named both Scottish and UK Adventurer of the year (2015) for his 364 day solo circumnavigation of Scotland by kayak and continuous ascent of all 282 winter munro mountains. Subsequently this was followed with a winter round of the Corbett mountains in 2016.
Will is the director of Kayak Summer Isles in NW Scotland and is also approaching his fourth season as a kayak guide in Chilean Patagonia. Between seasons as a guide, Will is projecting large self-supported expeditions in the Patagonian fjords with over 1000 miles now covered over two expeditions as well as some previously never paddled inland lakes. Often involving scaling crags and hills with sea kayaks Will truly believes a real adventure involves at least one portage. In Scotland he is pursuing the Stevensons Lighthouses, which scatter some of the countries most remote headlands and islands.
